Joel Adams
Winner of the prestigious International Trombone Association's Frank Rosolino Jazz Award, trombonist Joel Adams is also co-leader/composer of The B3 Bombers.

A Madison, Wisconsin native, Joel has been associated with Clyde Stubblefield for many years and in many different bands. A graduate of the acclaimed jazz college, North Texas State, where he met and played with fellow B3 Bomber members Dan Trudell and Pat Mallinger, Joel is an accomplished soloist and talented composer. Several of his compositions appear on the not-yet-released CD, "The B3 Bombers featuring Clyde Stubblefield - Live at The Green Mill."

Joel also played with The Dallas Jazz Orchestra, during which time he was awarded the Dallas Jazz Society Scholarship. He later toured with Woody Herman's Thundering Herd and performed with Joe Williams, Clark Terry and Dizzy Gillespie.

In Madison, Joel stays busy playing with Clyde Stubblefield, Jan Wheaton, Berkeley Fudge, The Joel Adams Group and The Organgrinder (with Dan Trudell).
